Everyday, we hear about “Equal Opportunities” or “Equal Rights” for all. Yet many individuals with a disability, including the deaf, still face indirect discrimination, especially when they are looking for employment.
Deaf individuals are capable of doing anything. They can go to school and pursue further their studies, they can be anything they want while providing a good work performance, they can live independently, they can drive, they can go abroad, they can play sports, and the list goes on. If they are unable to do something, the reason would probably be the lack of services that accommodate the deaf, like captions or interpreters. Another reason would be an uneducated society which thinks that the deaf are unable to do something in particular.
This video highlights how deaf individuals are capable of becoming anything they desire. Why not?
Please keep in mind:
Deaf people can do ANYTHING but hear!
